When you use Auction Ready, you reduce the liability to your company in two ways. You remove the liability of injury to your employees, thus bringing down the risk of workers compensation claims against your company. Grinder blades explode and drill bits throw hot metal causing cuts, burns and eye injuries. With Auction Ready we assume all the risk of injury.
By having Auction-Ready prepare your lien units for auction, your company does not assume all the risk, using a third-party company lowers the risk of accusations against your management team. At Auction Ready, we video the entire lock cutting process and do a video inventory of every unit. We also take pictures and fill out a inventory sheet of every unit we open. Once we are finished with a unit a custom numbered seal tag is placed on the hasp and the number is recorded on the inventory sheet, we also place a inventory identification card inside each unit, which also has the tag number, lock cutters signature, managers signature and date of lock cut.
Whether or not the unit sells at auction, we keep all video, pictures, and inventory sheets for 3 years after the inventory has been performed. This allows for proof of what was in the unit at time of lock cut. It also shows that no one entered a unit, and no items were removed before the auction or if the customer pays out of auction. This allows Auction Ready to be able to provide proof of the units contents, should any accusations come from the lien process.
